Justin Carroll (David) Replaced!: Julian Stone (ex-Jerry, GH) will replace Justin Carroll in scenes that air on October 10, 13 and 21. Justin Carroll returns as David Hastings on November 7. So, wherefore Carroll? According to a show spokesperson, "Justin has been vacationing in Europe, visiting his father and other family with his girlfriend Kirsten. For some [reason, he] could not get the return [flight] out of London on the date he originally planned."

FILA Cancer Challenge: Join Rodney Van Johnson (TC), who is the National Spokesperson for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness, Eva Tamargo Lemus (Pilar), Danica Stewart (Jessica), Charles Divins (Chad), Ryan McPartlin (Hank) and other members of the Passions cast at the 6th Annual FILA Cancer Challenge that benefits the Hirshberg Pancreatic Cancer Center at the UCLA School of Medicine on Sunday, November 9 at the UCLA Athletic Fields in Westwood, California. Heidi Mueller to Debut as Kay: Heidi Mueller, one of the daughters featured on NBC's summer hit reality series "Who Wants to Marry My Dad?," will join the cast of "Passions" in the contract role of Kay Bennett - the scheming and manipulative daughter of Harmony Police Chief Sam Bennett and his wife Grace. The announcement was made by Sheraton Kalouria, Senior Vice President, NBC Daytime. "We are delighted to have Heidi join the talented cast of 'Passions,'" says Kalouria. On the reality series, Mueller was the opinionated daughter of Don who put his trust in his four kids to choose a wife for him. Through outrageous secret tasks, surprising revelations about each player's past and "lie-detector" tests, the kids recently picked his fianc�e. Mueller is set to start taping the week of September 8, 2003. Her first broadcast date is scheduled for Friday, October 24. "Passions" will mark Mueller's acting debut.

New Angel Girl: Twelve-year-old Diandra Newlin of Richmond, VA will join the cast of NBC's "Passions" on Monday, October 13. Diandra will play Angel Girl, the guardian angel who appears to Grace Bennett (Dana Sparks) and who helped guide Timmy (the late Josh Ryan Evans) into heaven. Chea Courtney, daughter of baseball legend Pete Rose, had literally outgrown the role she'd held since 1999. Diandra, a seventh-grader at Collegiate, will be heading back to Hollywood soon for an Oct. 21 filming. The family keeps an apartment in Los Angeles because Diandra and her brother, Colin, both act and model. Donna Newlin says her daughter, who auditioned for and got the role on Aug. 21 - much to their surprise -- has missed only one hour of school this year. "The next day," she says, "the script was delivered to the door, and we started shooting on Monday." And suddenly her daughter's in Soap Opera Weekly. "It's crazy," Newlin says with a laugh. Colin, 15, recently interviewed Lil' Romeo for Nickelodeon's "Spin the Bottle" to help launch the cable channel's new show, "Romeo!" Back at home, he's involved with Collegiate's production of "West Side Story." "My husband has to be an angel," says Newlin. "We're trying to hold onto the family as much as we can now." Eric Martsolf (Ethan) Married: Eric Martsolf (Ethan) just announced on his message board that he got married. Here is his announcement: "Well guys...I really did it!! And let me tell ya, it was a pretty terrific party, if I may say so myself. Sorry I have been away from the board and chat room for awhile, but it's been crazy at the old homestead (those of you who have been through a wedding know what I mean!) Jennia Fredrique Cast as Latoya: Jennia Fredrique joins the cast of "Passions" in the recurring role of Latoya, a stunningly beautiful young woman in Los Angeles who just might hold the key to some of the mysteries of Chad's past! She first airs on October 2. Jennia's other credits include the recurring role of "Rosie" on "City Guy" and "Natasha" on "One on One." She has also guest starred on "My Wife and Kids," "The Hughley's" and "Girlfriends." Residing in Los Angeles, Jennia is also a professional dancer specializing in salsa, meringue and freestyle hip-hop. Her birthday is November 4.
